Noah’s Arc, the popular Logo TV show from the early aughts, will be returning this year, the show’s director said at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., over the weekend.

While accepting an award at the SpeakOut “I AM” Awards, Patrik-Ian Polk, the director, made some news that excited fans welcomed once word spread.

“I’m very happy to confirm that there is indeed more Noah’s Arc coming,” Polk said, Gaye Magazinereports.

“That’s right. You heard it here first at the I Am Awards. Breaking news: Noah’s Arc is coming back.”

The show follows Noah (Darryl Stephens) and his friends Alex (Rodney Chester), Chance (Doug Spearman), and Ricky (Christian Vincent) as they navigate the pitfalls of the gay dating scene in Los Angeles.

Noah’s Arc was a groundbreaking comedy-drama that was the first to feature a cast of Black and gay characters who comprised the regular cast on the show.
